Who are we?

Our story starts way back in the 70’s. In those days Mike Gardner was starting his flat roof business and Ged Crawford his tiling business. Phil Woodward sold roofing materials to both of them as sales manager at a specialist roofing merchant. So their relationship has a lengthy history.

Mike has now retired (but remains as occasional consultant and mentor) and Phil and Ged have merged their businesses to provide a full range of pitched and flat roof services.

The company offers a full supply and fix service for trade, commercial and domestic clients. We will undertake any size project from a small porch to a school or hospital wing and whilst the quality of the work will be as high for all we are conscious of the demands of each sector and handle it accordingly.

In particular our foundation is the local small trade and domestic market and we remain above all a local roofer for the local community, which is primarily in the New Forest, Southampton, and Bournemouth area.

• Confederation Of Roofing Contractors: The largest roofing trade association of which we have been associated 15 years.
• Buy With Confidence: Part of Hampshire County Councils Trading standards department. You can imagine they, of all, people are very strict with whom they approve. We were (we believe) their very first roofing member.
• I.M.A. (Intelligent Membrane Association): An exclusive representation for the top end of the flat roofing technology and practice

Additionally, for flat roofing, apart from our standard 10 year guarantees we are approved contractors for several felt systems with insurance backed guarantees for up to 20 years.
